Fernando De Noronha
Paradise on Earth, I don't think there is much that compares to this Brazilian island. If the breathtaking views and the unparalleled marine diversity aren't enough, you should know that this island is made of alkaline volcanics.

The Swiss Alps

Minas Gerais
If you don't know Minas Gerais is the best state in Brazil. It has wonderful waterfalls, lovely colonial villages, the best food in the world, and all the super pretty minerals you see in the museums come from there.
